Welcome to Oaklands Nursing Home!

Oaklands is perhaps the most established home in Chester, running for a number of years before the family-run Conifers Care Homes Ltd (formerly Conifers Care Group) took ownership towards the end of the eighties.
We are a happy home, founded on strong relationships and good team work. The "Conifers family" of Directors makes regular visits, and one of the Directors also spends a large part of her week working alongside management at the Oaklands.
Our philosophy is grounded in the satisfactioncomfort and happiness of our clients, based on sensitive and attentive care, promoting dignity and privacy, and respecting individuality and personal choices.

Oaklands' Philosophy of Care

It is your home.
A place where family and friends are always welcome. Retreat with a book in the warmth of the sunshine, rest with your favourite music or radio station playing in the background and pursue that enjoyable hobby.

With your things around you.
Your comfortable old chair, those memories captured in photos, that beautiful cross-stitch that a close friend made for you.

A base for social activity.
Forming new friendships, enjoying a game of scrabble, a quiz, a good book from the library or joining in the gardening club – perhaps growing your own!

With the reassurance of 24 hr professional assistance and care,
Via a qualified and experienced team of staff.

In a secure environment,

designed to offer the utmost safety and accessibility.
